Activity Cost
What each work item really cost: link cash expenses to a work item from Work Progress and the app works out its total cost and the unit cost per m², m³ or tonne.
What you can do with Activity Cost
- Expenses linked to a work item in the Cash Book entry
- Total cost per work item
- Quantity from the Work Progress record
- Unit cost = linked expenses ÷ quantity
- Linked and unlinked expense totals, so you see what is not assigned yet
- Per site, the most expensive items first
What it does for you on site
Why it matters
What did a square metre of plaster on Block B really cost? Link the expenses as you enter them and the unit cost is there — useful for the next tender as much as for this job.
Time and money
Unit costs from your own sites are the best basis for pricing the next job, and they come out of entries you make anyway.
