Budget
Plan the site budget line by line and see actual spending next to it. The actual figures come from the Cash Book, so nothing is typed twice.
What you can do with Budget
- Budget lines for expenses and for income, by category and subcategory
- Planned amount per line, with an optional quantity and unit (m³, m², tonnes)
- Actual spending from Cash Book expenses — by category, or by a budget line picked in the cash entry
- Variance and percentage used for every line and for the whole site
- Lines over plan flagged in red
- A warning when spending has no budget line, with a shortcut to create one
- One line per category on each site, so nothing is counted twice
What it does for you on site
Why it matters
Rebar at 112% of plan while formwork is still under budget? You see it during the job, while there is time to react — not when the project is closed. The actual column fills itself from the cash entries you already make.
Time and money
Overruns are cheaper to deal with while they are small. Comparing plan and actual line by line, every week, shows where the money is going long before the final account.
