Rule-based warnings from your budget, cash and cheque records: budget overruns, rising monthly spending, a negative cash balance and cheques the cash on hand cannot cover.
What you can do with Cost Alerts
- Budget line more than 10% over plan: warning; more than 25%: critical
- Total budget overrun for the site
- This month’s spending more than 20% above last month’s, and the category rising fastest
- Negative cash balance
- Issued cheques due within 7 days that exceed the cash on hand
- Expenses still in draft or awaiting approval
- One category taking more than half of all spending
- Grouped as critical, warning and info; each alert opens the module behind it
What it does for you on site
Why it matters
You don’t have to open five screens to find the problem: the alert list tells you that formwork is over budget, that this week’s cheques are more than the cash, or that ten expenses are still waiting for approval.
Time and money
Money problems rarely arrive all at once — they build up. A short list of warnings, worked out from records you already keep, makes the build-up visible early.
