What it does for you on site
Why it matters
You find a slab crack on the 3rd floor. Take a photo, mark it critical, assign it to the subcontractor, close it when fixed. If the same defect shows up on the 5th floor, recurring-defect detection kicks in.
Time and money
Systematic tracking makes repeat defects visible, so the same mistake is less likely to happen twice. A structural defect fixed late costs far more than one caught early.
